TM4™ LVI400 Series

TM4™ LVI400 Series

Leveraging more than a half century of research and development in electric propulsion, the TM4™ LVI400 is packed with numerous innovations, including compact, in-house power modules, a tri-core ASIL-D processor, an optimized Real Time Operating System (RTOS) for better processor and memory resources management, and flexible synchronous and asynchronous motor control.

The result is a powerful, space-saving inverter with the durability and reliability to address functional safety certifications. All from a top-tier supplier that leverages decades of expertise to deliver a fully integrated electrified drive system specifically engineered for your machine.

AC Motor Controller

The TM4™ LVI400 Inverter Series is designed to control all synchronous and asynchronous motor types – such as ACIM, SPM, IPM, SynRM and PMASynRM – used in Battery Electric Vehicles.

Adaptable motor control, using a Flux Vector Control algorithm, offers best performance for speed- and torque-controlled drive systems.

Dedicated Safety Functions

TM4™ LVI400 is being developed to support up to PLd (ISO 13849 Cat. 2, ISO 19014-4, EN 1175:2020) capability for different inverter configurations such as Single & Dual Drive, Working Functions, Actuator, and any combination of these. Furthermore, the availability of the Safety Manual will support easy integration of the inverter into the final application.

Packaged For Power

Our in-house patented DBC MOSFET multilayer power modules allow for:

  • Very high power density allowing for optimal compactness
  • High efficiency and long life power stage
  • Cost efficient system approach
  • High reliability

For the best possible integration into various vehicle types, dedicated variants are available for cooling by air, plate, and water.

Extra Boost power (+20%) will increase machine drive and work performance.

Vehicle Application Development

The Multi-functional and configurable I/O interface is flexible to adjust to vehicle demand.
