A compelling combination of compact design and heavy-duty power, the TM4 SUMO HP series is precisely engineered to address the requirements of Class 6-8 commercial vehicles.
It can be coupled to diesel engines, natural gas engines, and multi-speed transmissions, as well as integrated as part of an e-Axle in heavy-duty and off-highway applications.

Generation mode
A version of the TM4 SUMO HP HV900 is also available with control algorithms that are optimized for generation application where continuous power generation is the main operating mode.
The efficiency of the system reaches 95% and has been developed to match the efficiency of a diesel engine, which is instrumental to optimize fuel savings. In a series-hybrid, the combined use of the electric traction system, the optimized gen-set and electrified accessories can result in a minimum 50% fuel economy compared to a conventional vehicle.
