As a Senior Performance Test Technician, you will be responsible for performing engineering, software, performance and functional tests on Dana TM4’s electric drive systems for tomorrow’s electric vehicles (EV). You will also play a critical role in creating and maintaining testing workflows and procedures for dynamometer testing.

Your mandate: revolutionize the world of transportation, while:

  • Performing validation testing on electric drive systems such as electric motors, inverters, battery chargers and vehicle controllers
  • Supporting the technician team with troubleshooting test bench issues during testing and identifying, implementing, and documenting technical solutions
  • Creating, maintaining and championing testing workflows and work procedures
  • Training of new and junior technicians
  • Writing test procedures in accordance with the test plan
  • Writing test reports to illustrate results
  • Maintaining up-to-date technical documentation
  • Any other related tasks

 

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • AEC in electric vehicles or a college diploma (DEC) in electricity and/or electronics
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience as an electronics technician or machine operator
  • Essential: Proactive, committed and solution oriented
  • Essential: Comfortable creating and maintaining work procedures and processes
  • Essential: Knowledge of laboratory equipment: oscilloscope, multimeter, accelerometer, etc.
  • Clear and concise communication skills (written and oral)
  • Knowledge of Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Autonomy and resourcefulness
  • Team player
  • Functional English
