Within the Industrialization group, the Methods Technician is responsible for setting up the optimal conditions for the realization of products, through the preparation of assembly documents, the development of methods and workstations as well as the selection of adequate tools and equipment. He also sees to the continuous improvement and optimization of internal processes.

Your mandate: to revolutionize the world of transportation, while:

  • Creating and maintaining production documentation
  • Developing, analyzing and improving work methods and quality controls
  • Optimizing production flows by organizing workstations
  • Ensuring 5S, ergonomics and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations through appropriate processes
  • Suggesting possible improvements to the production rate
  • Identifying the equipment and tooling required to achieve production and quality control objectives while considering cost and sales estimates
  • Participating in the writing of specifications and analysis of bids for new equipment
  • Handling non-conformances in production/inspection and participating in the processing of customer returns
  • Collaborating in the maintenance and improvement of the quality system
  • Any other related tasks

 

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • DEC in industrial engineering, automated production engineering, mechanical or electrical engineering
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in 3D design software, an asset
  • Mastery of Autocad, an asset
  • Experience in an ISO work environment
  • Autonomy, initiative and organizational skills
  • Team player and collaborative spirit
  • Comfortable working in a changing and growing environment
  • Very good written French and able to communicate in English
