As an active member of the Engineering and Product Development team, you work in collaboration with the product development teams. You participate in the validation and implementation of new functionalities in our electric propulsion systems for tomorrow’s electric vehicles.

Your challenges

  • Leads, develops and implements a software design team with other team leaders to deliver products
  • Responsible for software processes and agile management (Scrum Master) of the software activities of his team
  • Supervise Software team including approval and time sheets and annual evaluations
  • Ensure an efficient two-way communication channel between other development sites (local and international), clients and team members
  • Participate in the evaluation of resources required to complete projects, in collaboration with project managers
  • Establish and maintain software processes to ensure compliance with Dana TM4 and automotive industry methodologies and standards
  • Responsible for the development and software development life cycle phases
  • Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of software requirements and design documentation
  • Participate and support quality problem solving exercises
  • Responsible for the review process of the work performed by the entire team
  • Responsible for the writing / review of software development processes
  • Represent the company during meetings or audits with clients
  • Understand and interact with other product development teams (Software, Mechanical Sales & Marketing, Remote Satellite Site)
  • Manage operational budgets for his team


Your strengths

  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum seven (7) years of relevant experience in software analysis combined with experience in employee management
  • Master’s degree in Agile methodology and as a Scrum Master
  • Ability to communicate and work in an international and cross-functional matrix environmen
  • Ability Good knowledge of C/C++ embedded systems
  • Knowledge of A-Spice standards, ISO26262 (asset)
  • Knowledge of software design tools e.g. CodeComposerStudio (CCS), Polarion, GIT, Bamboo, Azure DevOps, Vector tools (CANAlyzer, CANoe, Mathlab/Simulink (asset)
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
  • Curious and autonomous
  • Rigorous and respectful of deadlines
  • Bilingual, French and English, (spoken and written)
